Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles wrote, “6-year-old me would be proud” as she posed with her impressive collection of Olympic medals on Instagram. 

The 2024 Paris Olympics marked another historic chapter for the legendary gymnast, who clinched three gold medals and one silver, making her the most decorated US gymnast in Olympic history.

But when asked about the probability of her competing at the next Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028, she said it would be “greedy.”

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, where she was named “2024 Sportsperson of the Year,” Biles addressed the prospect of returning to the Olympic stage. 

“If you go back, you’ll be greedy. Those are the consequences. But that’s also your decision to decide,” she explained.

Biles noted that the sacrifices required now differ greatly from those of her early years. While earlier compromises involved skipping typical milestones like “prom or college experiences,” her current considerations revolve around more personal matters, such as starting a family and spending time with her husband. 

Given her seven Olympic golds and an already illustrious career, Biles believes she has achieved all she could in the sport.

She expressed a sense of readiness to step away, recognizing the importance of knowing when to conclude her journey.

“Now it’s about starting a family, being away from my husband. What’s really worth it?” Simone Biles pondered. “I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done.”

This venture would involve an investment of about $75 million, according to the firm’s top official.
